HydraFacial

HydraFacial is a facial treatment where a single handpiece cleanses the pores, exfoliates the skin, and infuses it with a hyaluronic acid and peptide serum in just a few steps — with no needles, no irritation, and no downtime. Our HydraFacial treatment at PIED-DE-POULE works well both before an important event, when you want a smooth base for makeup, and as a regular part of your skincare routine, when your skin loses its glow after winter or travel.

Clear skin

Pores free of blackheads and impurities

Instant glow

Smoother, radiant-looking skin right away

Deep hydration

Firmer skin, less tight and dry

Zero downtime

Back to your day right after the treatment

What is HydraFacial?

Hydrafacial is a treatment performed with a patented American device that combines three actions in a single tip — wet micro-exfoliation, vacuum extraction of impurities from the pores, and immediate serum infusion. The Vortex-Fusion system means that while the tip works on the pores, the skin receives active ingredients at the same time — this is what sets it apart from classic manual cleansing or dry microdermabrasion, where exfoliation and hydration are two separate steps, and the skin can become irritated by contact with a harsher tip. Before the treatment, the cosmetologist assesses the skin’s condition and uses this to choose the intensity of the exfoliating acid and the type of serum.

Treatment Intensity Levels

The salon offers a shorter version focused on cleansing and hydration, as well as an extended version with an additional acid peel step and an antioxidant serum. A booster targeted at a specific skin concern — pigmentation, fine expression lines, or excess oiliness — can be added to the full programme. The exfoliation step itself is similar to a classic facial peel, with the difference that the acid stays on the skin for only a dozen or so seconds, making the risk of irritation much lower.

Duration and Treatment Course

The shorter version takes around 30 minutes. The full treatment with an acid peel and booster takes 45 minutes. Results are visible after a single visit, but for enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, or early fine lines, a course of 3–4 treatments at monthly intervals gives a better result.

Who This Treatment Suits

Hydrafacial works well when the skin looks grey despite home skincare, when pores are visibly clogged with sebum, or when you need an instant effect before a photoshoot or an important meeting. For those who want deeper, longer-lasting hydration, the cosmetologist may suggest needle-free mesotherapy as a next step, which delivers hyaluronic acid even deeper into the skin.

Extraction Step and Alternatives

The vacuum extraction step, in which the tip gently draws impurities out of the pores, works on a similar principle to vacuum facial massage, although that treatment focuses on lymphatic drainage and facial contour rather than pore cleansing.

What a HydraFacial treatment at PIED-DE-POULE looks like

01
Consultation

The cosmetologist assesses your skin's condition, asks about previous treatments and allergies, then chooses the acid intensity and serum type. If pores are heavily clogged or skin tone is uneven, a course of treatments is recommended at this stage.

02
Cleansing and acid peel

The wet handpiece removes dead skin and makeup residue, while a gentle acid loosens the keratinised layer of skin. This step takes a few minutes and prepares the skin for the main cleansing.

03
Vacuum extraction

Suction draws sebum, blackheads, and impurities out of the pores, especially in the T-zone. Skin immediately feels smoother and looks noticeably clearer.

04
Serum infusion and protection

Cleansed skin receives a serum with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants, finished with a soothing cream with UV filter. You leave the salon with a finished, hydrated look, with no redness and no need to recover.

Benefits of HydraFacial Treatment

HydraFacial treatment for deep cleansing, hydration, and skin refreshment
  • EXFOLIATED SKIN

Exfoliating acids loosen dead skin cells, so the skin immediately looks smoother and brighter.

  • CLEARED PORES

Vacuum suction draws sebum and blackheads out of the pores, so imperfections and impurities disappear from the skin's surface.

  • DEEP HYDRATION

Peptides and hyaluronic acid reach the cleansed, open skin, so firmness and elasticity last for several days.

  • EVEN SKIN TONE

Antioxidant serum neutralises free radicals on the skin's surface, so the complexion looks more even and refreshed.

FAQ

  • What is a HydraFacial treatment?

It’s a facial treatment using a single handpiece that cleanses the pores, exfoliates the skin, and immediately infuses it with a hyaluronic acid and peptide serum. The whole treatment takes 30-45 minutes and leaves no marks on the skin.

  • How much does a HydraFacial treatment cost?

The price depends on the chosen variant — the shorter one, focused on cleansing and hydration, or the full one, with an acid peel and booster. You’ll find the exact price list for both PIED-DE-POULE salons on the services pricing page.

  • What does HydraFacial before and after look like?

Before the treatment, skin can look dull, with visible pores and an uneven tone. After the treatment, it’s smoothed, hydrated, and noticeably brighter — the effect is visible right after you leave the clinic, with no redness.

  • Is a HydraFacial treatment safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, the technology works on wet skin without any sharp tools, so it’s also suitable for skin with visible capillaries or dry skin. The final choice of intensity and serum is made by the cosmetologist during your consultation before the treatment.

  • How long does a HydraFacial treatment take, and how do I prepare for it?

The shorter version takes around 30 minutes, and the full one with an acid peel and booster takes 45 minutes. It’s enough to arrive without makeup, or remove it just before your appointment — no special preparation is needed.

  • What's the difference between HydraFacial and hydrogen facial cleansing?

HydraFacial uses an original, patented device with single-use tips and a system that cleanses and hydrates at the same time. Hydrogen facial cleansing is a similar treatment in principle, but it’s a cheaper procedure performed with different equipment and different products.

  • Is HydraFacial currently a popular choice among facial treatments?

Yes, it’s one of the most frequently chosen facial treatments in Poland, alongside chemical peels and microneedling, mainly because of its instant effect and lack of downtime. It’s also growing in popularity as a prep treatment before events or photoshoots, when there’s no time for the skin to recover.
